BIO-2-PRINT gives new life to side streams of natural fibres — such as hemp and flax shives — by transforming them into advanced 3D printing materials. The goal is to build a carbon-neutral, local value chain that supports the circular economy in the Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) region.

At the event, you can

  • Discover how BIO-2-PRINT combines natural fibres with polymers and concrete to develop 3D-printable filaments and pellets for use in construction and industrial applications.

  • Learn how the project strengthens regional value chains — from fibre pretreatment and material development to stakeholder-driven pilot cases.

  • Meet the project experts and get inspired by how side streams are turned into valuable raw materials that benefit both the environment and local vitality
