In October, the BIO-2-PRINT project took part in Centria Open Doors, an event that gathered researchers, companies, and the public to explore the latest innovations from Centria’s RDI activities.

At the event, Centria’s experts showcased the project’s work on developing sustainable 3D printing feedstocks made from underutilized natural fibres and recycled materials. Visitors had the opportunity to learn how BIO-2-PRINT contributes to building circular value chains in the Northern Periphery and Arctic region, turning local natural resources into high-value products for construction and manufacturing.

The exhibition sparked discussions on how circular materials and smart manufacturing technologies can reshape traditional industries and promote regional sustainability and innovation.

The event organized by Centria Research, Development and Innovations was a part of the Interreg Cooperation campaign.
