The final conference of the COPOWER project marks the conclusion of this Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) project. Led by ERNACT, the project has focused on the development and implementation of community-led energy solutions across the NPA region.

This event presents the project’s primary output: a Community-based Virtual Power Plant (cVPP) model designed for deployment within typical NPA communities.

The model features five integrated Distributed Energy Resource (DER) solutions and a dedicated online demonstration service.

The two-day programme, hosted by Donegal County Council, brings together project partners from Iceland, Finland, the Faroe Islands, and Donegal. Joined by guest speakers specialising in community energy systems, the conference will examine the project's technical outcomes and broader regional impact.
