Mr. Philip Doyle, Director at Reverve Energy, represented the organisation on a key panel discussion addressing the critical question: "What are the most important levers to accelerate energy efficiency?" This is a timely discussion as the nation seeks to meet its established climate objectives.

During the session, Mr. Doyle shared learning's from their Virtual Power Plant (VPP) with COPOWER project partner Donegal County Council, demonstrating how innovative partnerships can drive real change in how we consume, manage, and optimise energy at a local level.

The summit, which convened policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and academics, underscored the necessity of a coordinated approach to the energy shift. Discussions spanned grid modernisation, renewable integration, energy security, and consumer engagement.

The collective conclusion of the event was clear: successfully navigating the energy transition requires ambitious policy frameworks, strategic investment in innovation, and committed cross-sector cooperation.
