In addition to nearly 4,000 agricultural and alcoholic products already protected under EU quality scheme of PDO/PGI/TSGs, verified geographical indication label can soon be used to protect and promote crafts and industrial products too! Come and hear the latest insights on origin labeling directly from leading European experts. Speakers include, for example, a producer of premium Donegal Tweed fabrics from Ireland, Icelandic lamb meat producers, and representatives of the Nordic whisky application initiative. And how about Finnish wood, renowned for its quality—could it benefit from emphasizing its geographical origin?
