The European Regions Network for the Application of Communications Technology (Ireland) is an international network for European cities and regions. It was formed in 1991 to jointly pursue digital transformation funding, development and transfer of know-how opportunities.

Local Authority for County Donegal (Ireland). It provides an extensive range of public services for residents, businesses and visitors services. The Council also plays a proactive role in the development of the county, including growing the economic welfare in an effort to make the Donegal a better place in which to live, work, relax and invest.

Located in northern Sweden’s Västernorrland County spans forests, coastal landscapes of the High Coast, and numerous rural villages, serving over 55,000 residents across more than 8,400 km². It has deep roots in forestry, pulp and paper, and heavy machinery manufacturing. Today, the municipality is also recognised for its forward-looking environmental initiatives, acting as a testbed for sustainable technologies and innovative climate solutions.

Founded in 1965, is the flagship institution of higher education in northern Sweden. It is home to over 41,500 students and nearly 4,600 staff, offering a wide spectrum of disciplines from medicine and science to social sciences, the arts, and design. Renowned for its world-class research environments, it is celebrated as the birthplace of the CRISPR-Cas9 gene-editing breakthrough, a Nobel Prize-winning discovery that transformed molecular biology.

It is Finland’s largest and oldest academic institution and an innovative centre of science and thinking. Since 1640, they have contributed to the establishment of a fair and equal society that is considered one of the best in the world. The Ruralia Institute examines sustainable development and the changing relationship between global and local issues from the perspective of rural areas.
