MINDSET partner meeting in Bodø advances capacity building and coordination efforts

On 30 September 2025, MINDSET project partners convened in Bodø, Norway, for a partner meeting hosted at Nord University Campus, alongside the Interreg NPA Programme Conference.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress and align upcoming activities, with a particular focus on stakeholder engagement, communication and project coordination. Discussions on Introducing RegMOI to regional stakeholders centred on the ongoing development of the RegMOI capacity building programme, led by Umeå University. Partners reviewed the course modules currently being prepared, with the aim of identifying components that can be adapted to support stakeholder capacity building across participating regions.

 An exchange on regional stakeholder engagement allowed partners to present the stakeholders identified to date and share updates on local sessions delivered or planned. This was complemented by a working discussion on the development of a RegMOI readiness assessment, exploring how to evaluate the maturity of territories interested in applying the approach.

The meeting also included a dedicated session on communication and dissemination, led by ERNACT, where partners reviewed ongoing activities and upcoming actions to ensure consistent visibility and outreach across all regions. In addition, ERNACT provided an update on project management and coordination, including preparations for the first progress report.

The meeting concluded with practical coordination points, including planning for the next in-person partner meeting in South Savo, Finland. Overall, the session in Bodø reinforced collaboration among partners and ensured continued alignment in delivering MINDSET’s objectives, particularly in strengthening stakeholder capacity and advancing the implementation of the RegMOI approach.
