MINDSET partners meet in South Savo to progress mission development

MINDSET partners met in South Savo, Finland, on 10–11 March 2026 for the project’s third partnership meeting, hosted by the University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute. The meeting took place across Mikkeli, Puumala and Juva and focused on progressing the project’s work on Regional Mission-Oriented Innovation (RegMOI).

During the two-day meeting, partners reviewed project progress, continued joint work linked to mission formulation and held discussions with local actors in Juva. The programme also included site visits, helping connect the project’s strategic work with local practice in South Savo.

MINDSET aims to strengthen the innovation capacity of three NPA regions by developing and applying RegMOI approaches to address societal challenges including skills development, climate change, and housing and public real estate
