MINDSET Project presented to Carndonagh stakeholders

On 8th July, stakeholders from the Carndonagh Decarbonisation Zone gathered at the IDP office in Carndonagh for a dedicated meeting to explore the MINDSET project, an Interreg NPA funded project.

The aim of the meeting was to present the MINDSET project and engage local stakeholders in the Carndonagh Decarbonisation Zone. Two key objectives guided the session: introducing the overall project including the concept of Regional Mission-Oriented Innovation (RegMOI) and start discussing which initiatives could be considered to implement missions that contribute to the objectives pursued in the decarbonisation zone.

RegMOI addresses the lack of bottom-up approaches in innovation, offering a framework for communities to collaboratively tackle societal challenges such as climate action, housing, and skills development at the local and regional levels.

The event marked a significant step in building awareness and participation among local actors as part of Donegal’s climate action strategy.
