Join the N-LITE Final Symposium to celebrate the project and discover what’s next for literary tourism in rural regions.

Over the day, you will hear from partners and contributors from Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Faroe Islands, alongside practitioners in creative industries, cultural tourism and literary tourism, with a strong focus on digital and immersive experiences.

What to expect

  • Youth-led creative showcases and place-based storytelling from across partner regions
  • International case studies and practical insights for sustainable, year-round literary tourism
  • Interactive XR experiences and games from the N-LITE Tale-Smiths initiative
  • Digital platform insights: demos of the Tale-Smiths XR platform and guidance on how regions can continue using and adapting it beyond the project
  • Partner room with organisations showcasing pilots, ideas and new projects
  • Networking with peers across tourism, culture, local government, education, policy and the creative industries

Open to the public, including those working in tourism, culture, creative industries, policy, education and digital media, and anyone interested in how storytelling can shape place.
