Northern and Arctic Communities Emergency Management and Preparedness

In the NACEMAP project we're tackling together the challenge of improving emergency management and preparedness in the Northern and Arctic communities. We enhance resilience in the communities against future disasters, through self-assessment, and by developing plans to deal with emergencies. NACEMAP produces a 3-part Toolkit for local communities, and authorities, to serve as an enduring resource for preparedness work. Toolkit includes the following parts: • Preparedness Self-Assessment Audit • Response Preparedness Plan • Post-Incident Recovery NACEMAP includes partners from Ireland, Iceland and Finland.
