Call for Abstract - NCSB 2026

The 23rd Nordic Conference on Small Business Research (NCSB) 2026 conference welcome submissions from all areas of small business and entrepreneurship research. The conference program features a dynamic mix of general tracks and special theme tracks, with the latter highlighting topics central to Nordic research. The Nordic Bridge NPA Partners are hosting Track 6 - From Student Projects to Startups'. This track will explore how universities and regional actors help students and early-career researchers turn ideas into real ventures, especially in rural and peripheral regions.

The organiser of NCSB2026 is the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division, Nord University Business School.

Track 6 - From Student Projects to Startups

Track 6 aims to explore how universities and regional actors help students and early-career researchers turn ideas into real ventures, especially in rural and peripheral regions.

We welcome abstracts on the following themes:

Student projects evolving into startups
University–industry collaboration
Digital tools supporting student innovation
Mentorship beyond the university
Challenge-driven and Problem based learning
Ecosystem strategies for young entrepreneurs
Other relevant topics

Abstracts should be approximately 900 words and include the following:

objectives,
theoretical foundation,
approach/methods,
preliminary results/findings, and
expected contributions.

When submitting your abstract, you will be asked to select a track theme. The list of tracks and their descriptions is available on the conference website.

Do not include your name or affiliation in the abstract.
