Nordic Bridge's presentation showcased how challenge-driven collaborations can effectively respond to Europe's critical challenges, including climate change, geopolitical instability, energy crises, and digital threats. Drawing from influential reports—the Draghi, Letta, and Manuel Reports—the session emphasized empowering youth, fostering open science, and enhancing knowledge valorization to build a resilient and competitive European future. Focusing on the core objectives of Nordic Bridge, the presentation detailed the development of a digital matchmaking portal designed to connect academia, industry, and government, particularly empowering students and early-career researchers. The initiative aims to lower collaboration barriers, facilitate practical skill development, and promote innovative solutions to societal challenges. Key points from the presentation included:
