Connecting creative business with the tourist market

Connecting tourists with local businesses and expanding working horizons

To connect creative businesses with the tourist market, the project developed a mobile app which shows the visitors where the artists are located and what they offer. The app includes information about 28 creative enterprises, galleries and museums. According to a survey conducted in Northern Ireland, 53% of businesses found the app beneficial for added exposure for their businesses and 10% noticed increased number of visitors as a direct result of the app. Through a Creative Momentum project, David Henderson received support to attend the Web Summit in Lisbon, where he developed new connections and work opportunities.

At the Web Summit we met Laurie Stach from LaunchX, a prestigious program which brings together high school entrepreneurs from all over the US & the world in a 4-week program each summer. Laurie invited me to MIT in Boston to deliver a series of branding workshops. After speaking at MIT & meeting the LaunchX team we were very excited about being commissioned to design the new logo, new website, the marketing materials & animating the logo. The project support to attend the Web Summit led to this.
