RemoTED Project Officially Launched

The RemoTED project (Digital and Technological Social and Healthcare Enhanced Service Delivery in Remote Areas) officially started on 1 February 2025. We are excited to begin our journey and share our progress – follow us on LinkedIn to stay connected!

Funded by the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme, RemoTED will run for 36 months, until January 2028. The project builds on insights from the RemoTED preparatory project (2024), which identified a clear need to strengthen the digital and technological skills, confidence, and competences of social and healthcare professionals in remote areas.

RemoTED aims to improve service accessibility by developing continuous training offerings and piloting new digital and technological solutions in collaboration with local associate partners and stakeholders.

The Kick-Off Meeting and Launch Event will be held in May 2025 in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Lead Partner of this project is Lapland University of Applied Sciences, Future Health Care Services, Susanna Leskinen, who serves as Project Manager. RemoTED has a great and motivated transnational collaboration with Partners from Karelia UAS (Finland), Atlantic Technological University (Ireland), and University of Iceland (Iceland).
