Social services students from Karelia University of Applied Sciences organized a well-being afternoon via Teams in September 2025 as part of their internship in promoting well-being, health, and functional capacity. The afternoon was targeted for the clients and instructors of our associated partner, Messi Ltd. The goal was to provide a positive experience of remote guidance and to gather young people's opinions and ideas related to remote sessions.

Interactive and Creative Activities

We gathered at Messi’s premises and participated in the sessions of three student teams via Teams. The program included, among other things, a short exercise session, creating a poster of things that bring joy using images, and a relaxation moment. We also got to test our knowledge of well-being-related topics through a Kahoot quiz.

Positive Feedback and Valuable Insights

The experience was positive, and both the young participants and their instructors gave good feedback on the students’ remote guidance. The themes and working methods sparked ideas and new thoughts about how to make community spirit and positivity more visible within the group.

The event was carried out in collaboration with Karelia’s Remoted team and provided valuable insights for future pilots of the project.
