The session also included a joint discussion on how technological and digital solutions are currently visible in the field of social work and how, for example, gamification or artificial intelligence are being used in practice. The students had completed their placements in services such as disability services, child protection, and school social work.

The students also brainstormed ways in which different digital solutions could be used to support client guidance or how games and gaming could create space for shared conversations. Could everyday tasks be gamified, or could guidance be provided digitally through an application?
