RETURN Project Consortium Planning Seminar, Reykjavik
The RETURN project officially launches with a 3-day event in Reykjavik, Iceland, bringing together the project consortium, public stakeholders, tourism professionals, policymakers, and community representatives. The whole event will focus on innovative models for transferring tourism revenues to support environmental sustainability, community well-being, and climate adaptation across the NPA region. The programme features 3 days. Day 1, with an internal project planning seminar, Day 2, with public presentations and panel discussions, and Day 3, with a field excursion to explore real-world applications of tourism revenue use in Icelandic destinations. The goal is to give a broad overview and to provide a good foundation for future project work, and to align the common project goals.
