Delivered by Ciara Greaney of White Spire, the workshop brought together participants for a hands-on, collaborative learning experience focused on simplifying ESG reporting. Throughout the session, attendees explored practical ways to reduce the reporting burden by focusing on the data they already have, structuring it effectively, and using appropriate digital tools.

Participants were introduced to a low-effort workflow for sustainability reporting, while also gaining insights into ESG tools suitable for SMEs and how digital tools and AI can support reporting without adding unnecessary complexity. By the end of the workshop, attendees left with greater clarity on how to identify and use their existing sustainability data, along with practical steps they can begin implementing within their organisations.

Kindly sponsored by Local Enterprise Office Sligo as part of Local Enterprise Week, the event also provided a valuable opportunity for networking and shared learning. As part of the Sustainable SMEs Interreg NPA project, the workshop contributes to supporting SMEs across NPA regions to build practical sustainability reporting capabilities through shared learning, digital tools, and real-world solutions.
