The Tech2Heal partners are delighted to join forces with our colleagues from the NPA RemoTED Project to co-host a joint panel session at the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) Programme 25th Anniversary Conference in Bodø, Norway this week.

Our session, “Empowering Social Care and Healthcare: Technology for Workforce Wellbeing,” brings together expert voices from across the NPA region to discuss how digital innovation can strengthen the wellbeing of those working in health and social care.

The panel features:

  • Dr Louise McBride, Head of Department of Nursing and Healthcare, Atlantic Technological University

  • Dr Karla Muñoz Esquivel, Lecturer in Computing (Chair), Atlantic Technological University

  • Niclas Forsling, Project Manager, Region Västerbotten, Centre for Rural Medicine

  • Ove K Lintvedt, Senior Researcher, Norwegian Centre for E-health Research

  • Elina Kerätär, Physiotherapist, Master of Healthcare, RDI Senior Specialist, Lapland University of Applied Sciences

The discussion explores the opportunities and challenges of leveraging technology to support workforce sustainability, resilience, and wellbeing in healthcare and social care across the Northern Periphery and Arctic.
