AMPLE Partner Meeting Ireland 2026

The AMPLE project partners met in Ireland on 28 April 2026 for three busy days of meetings, makerspace visits, and showcasing a stand at the MedTech Innovation event.

The meeting brought partners together to review project progress, explore different models of makerspace support, and continue developing a shared understanding of what makes a makerspace “advanced.” This topic is also highlighted in Heidi’s recent article, linked here: https://centriabulletin.fi/from-laboratory-environment-to-an-advanced-makerspace/.

The Ireland meeting was an important step in strengthening collaboration and shared understanding across the consortium. It helped align the project direction, deepen our understanding of advanced makerspaces, and further develop how AMPLE can support micro-enterprises and SMEs in moving from idea to prototype and towards pilot production.
