The first Call for Best Practices in New European Bauhaus in the Northern Periphery and Arctic Region has recognised outstanding initiatives from Iceland, Sweden, Norway, and Ireland. 👏🏆

 

The winners and runner-ups for the three categories of the call (circular society, circular instruments, and circular buildings) are innovative and transformative and facilitate circular construction. They all contribute to making the Northern and Arctic Region more circular, beautiful, and inclusive. ♻🏗  

 

Winners:

Circular society: Háteigsvegur 59 (H59) - Reykjavík, Iceland.

Circular instruments: BGF - Iceland.

Circular buildings: ‘den talamh’ - Cork, Ireland

 

Runner-ups:

Circular society: Umeå Kallbad – Umeå, Sweden

Circular instruments: Sirken – Norway

Circular buildings: ACE Powerhouse - Skellefteå, Sweden and Båtsfjord barnehage – Båtsfjord, Norway
