BOCOD partners met in the Icelandic Westfjords
BOCOD project partners gathered in Ísafjörður, Iceland, for a three-day partner meeting to review project progress, share experiences and plan upcoming activities.
The partners discussed findings from interviews and surveys with business owners and business support organisations and continued developing the project’s training activities. Business Joensuu presented the results and experiences from its first Business Sale Readiness pilot training. The partners also worked on guidelines for international peer-to-peer networking between entrepreneurs. The meeting strengthened cooperation between the project partners and provided valuable ideas for the next stages of the BOCOD project.

The programme included visits to local businesses and organisations, providing practical insights into business continuity, ownership transfers, digitalisation and entrepreneurship in rural areas. The visits highlighted both the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in the Westfjords.
