The COPOWER project is excited to unveil a new interactive virtual tour of our biogas pilot at Wennström Farm.

As part of COPOWER project Centria University of Applied Sciences demonstrates how renewable energy and smart management can transform agricultural sustainability. Visitors can move through the system via interactive tags and even "meet" the cows vital to this circular energy cycle.

Powering Communities via cVPP

This facility is a key part of our Community-based Virtual Power Plant (cVPP) initiative. By using digital technology to link small energy systems, we can coordinate them like a single large-scale power station.

This model empowers local areas to:

  • Balance Demand: Seamlessly manage electricity production and consumption.

  • Increase Control: Foster collective energy independence and local participation.

  • Boost Efficiency: Show how consumers and producers can collaborate on sustainable, local energy solutions.
