Using the opportunity before the upcoming “LightUp 2024” to talk about darkness with Iceland science presenter nr 1. Sævar Helgi Bragason.

Who is Sævar?
Sævar Helgi Bragason is an science educator and communicator with background in geology and astronomy and years of experience teaching astronomy to people of all ages. He is a frequent guest on radio to talk about science in general, in addition to being the host of a prime time TV show on science and technology. 

Sævar is an author of best selling books on science for kids and adults. He enjoys the most looking up into a starry sky and shares with others the wonders of the universe be it naked-eye stargazing or through a telescope. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding science communication and is always happy to pay those interested in dark sky themes a visit to share with them the beauty of the night sky.
