This week (30.9.-1.10.), the Regenerate project partners in Finland took part in the Interreg NPA Finnish Partners Meeting in Oulu, bringing together Finnish organisations involved in Northern Periphery and Arctic programme projects.
The meeting offered a valuable opportunity to introduce ongoing projects, exchange experiences, and discuss how different project teams can support one another. Participants shared lessons from transnational cooperation, discussed common challenges and possible solutions, and heard updates on current NPA programme topics, controller practices, and national co-financing.
One of the highlights was a field demonstration by the FORESTCARBONVISION project, where we got to see how drones are used for measurements in a peatland environment.
The event was also an excellent chance to network, exchange ideas and discover possible connections between projects. Cross-project cooperation and knowledge sharing can create new perspectives and strengthen the impact of NPA activities across Finland and the wider programme area.
