Warm welcome to the "Beyond Sustainability: The Future of Tourism" webinar that will take place on 29 September 2026 at 14:00-16:00 EEST. The webinar will introduce the principles of regenerative tourism and explore how tourism can contribute positively to destinations, communities, businesses and ecosystems. Through examples and perspectives from Finland, Sweden, Ireland and Iceland, participants will gain practical insights into regenerative approaches and their application in tourism and place development. This webinar offers an introduction to the key ideas behind regenerative tourism, along with practical examples from destinations and organisations. We'll explore how tourism can contribute positively to places, communities, businesses and ecosystems.

"Beyond Sustainability: The Future of Tourism" webinar is hosted by the Regenerate project (Interreg NPA) and brings a collection of expert speakers on the topic of what does regenerative tourism mean in Finland, Sweden, Ireland and Iceland.

The webinar is free of charge and will be recorded, with the recording made available to all registered participants afterwards.
