The two-day event will bring together consortium of partners and stakeholders from Ireland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Northern Ireland, Sweden, and Finland to discuss cycling-related themes.

The event offers networking opportunities around the results of the three-year project and invites participants to reflect on the sustainable future of cycling tourism in Arctic regions. We will hear about the outcomes of the voucher programme, new cycling tourism products, and practical examples of bicycle-friendly urban planning.

On Tuesday, the parallel sessions will include piloting a cycling tourism product in Kemijärvi’s cultural landscapes and a bike maintenance training organised in cooperation with the Pyörät pyörimään project. On Wednesday, participants will explore the special characteristics of route product development in an expert-led workshop.
