Sustainability is becoming essential for businesses, but making sense of sustainability data can be complex and time-consuming.

​Hosted by data expert Rudi O'Reilly Meehan, this workshop will show you how to turn your data into clear insights that drive better decisions and more sustainable business practices.

​This workshop is practical, accessible, and designed for SMEs. You don’t need technical expertise, just an interest in improving how your organisation approaches sustainability reporting and decision making based on insights from your data.

​By the end of the session, you will understand how to move from raw data → insights → better reporting and decision-making.

​What you’ll learn:

• ​How to get started with data analytics using simple, user-friendly tools
• ​How to confidently work with sustainability data using low-code and no-code tools
• ​How to approach capturing sustainability data, including common pitfalls and how to avoid them
• ​How to create clear and meaningful data visualisations to support reporting

• ​Work with a real-world dataset
• ​Build simple visualisations to support reporting
• ​Explore and analyse sustainability data to identify trends and insights
• ​Reflect on how these approaches can be applied within your own organisation

About Rudi O'Reilly Meehan:

​Rudi is the founder of Data&Design, a data visualisation studio that looks to bring Irish data to life using code. Rudi’s clients include Dublin City Council and OpenAI, and his recent Dublin Active Travel Dashboard for Smart Dublin won the 2025 IDI award in data visualisation.
