Target Circular Engages Business Advisors with Evidence-Based Methodologies

Target Circular was delighted to present to annual meeting of regional business support organisations of Iceland at a recent event on May 7^th.  The impactful work being done to inform and support business support organisations in using evidence-based methodologies to assist entrepreneurs was showcased.

Dr. Niall O'Leary, Target Circular’s project lead, delivered a remote presentation from Ireland, highlighting key achievements and insights from the project. In particular how 3 experiments have recently identified novel methodologies that business advisors can apply that are more effective than typically used methods.

The session also featured a firsthand account of the methodologies in action, shared by Sveinbjörg Rut Pétursdóttir who successfully applied the approaches in North West Iceland in 2024. Looking ahead, Target Circular invited the attending business advisors to a full-day workshop in the autumn to delve deeper into these methodologies with 20 of the 50 attending signing up for the one day workshop.
