A webinar organised as part of the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) THREADs project explored how end-of-life textiles can support circular solutions, informed policy and new economic opportunities in the NPA region.

 

The webinar presented key findings on the composition of end-of-life textiles in Sweden and Finland, showing how improved data can support reuse and recycling, helping meet legislative requirements such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and strengthening advocacy for greater societal responsibility. The session also featured guest speakers from France and Ireland, who shared national perspectives on textile waste management, EPR developments, and emerging challenges and opportunities.
