Iceland workshop for Icelandic authorities and stakeholders on Arctic wastewater management, August 24th, 2026

On 24 August 2026, the ArcticSewlutions project will host a workshop in Iceland bringing together national authorities, municipalities, utilities, researchers, and other stakeholders to discuss wastewater management in Arctic and sub-Arctic regions.

Date
03.06.2026

The workshop will focus on the development of a wastewater management guideline catalogue. Invited participants will be invited to provide feedback on the proposed structure, content, and practical needs that the guidelines should address.

The workshop forms an important part of the co-creation process within ArcticSewlutions, ensuring that the guidance reflects the experiences and priorities of those responsible for planning, operating, and regulating wastewater systems in northern regions. The feedback gathered during the workshop will help shape a practical and relevant resource that supports sustainable wastewater management across the Arctic.
