Consortium meets for the first time

The Catalis partnership held its first project meeting in March 2026, bringing together representatives from all seven partner institutions for the project kick-off. The meeting was held online which is a practical, resource-efficient (and more sustainable) way to connect partners across five countries from the start. The meeting covered the project overview and work package structure, confirmed roles and responsibilities across the partnership, and agreed on a monthly online meeting schedule to keep collaboration moving throughout the project period. Partners also discussed the first practical steps, including the preparation of knowledge sharing templates for WP1, early planning for the Narvik micro-pilot, and the launch of the Transnational Arctic Durability Network. Looking ahead, the partnership is planning an in-person meeting in Narvik in June 2026, hosted by UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The meeting will include a visit to the Narvik harbour field station, where samples will be placed as part of the WP2 micro-pilot. More details will be shared shortly.
