InnoGS – Innovation Through Gamification Solutions project is organising an interactive youth event in Reykjavík during Arctic Circle week:

How can games help young people make their voices heard and shape the future of their communities? Join us for an afternoon of play, discussion and experimentation, exploring how gaming, immersive technologies and role-play can bring people together and open up new ways to participate.

The afternoon will begin with an opening presentation and pizza at 12:30, followed by hands-on play from 13:00 to 15:00. Participants will have the opportunity to try virtual and extended reality (VR/XR) experiences, explore digital and board games, and take part in tabletop role-playing. Through these activities, we will explore how different perspectives, dialogue and collaboration can support civic participation and decision-making in Arctic and rural communities.

The event is organised within the InnoGS project, whose partners include Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Humak University of Applied Sciences, Region Västerbotten, Ardán, Creative Crowd and the University of Iceland.
