About Fatemeh 'Marjan' Sepehrmanesh & the Centre for Wireless Communications

Fatemeh (Marjan) Sepehrmanesh, M.Sc., is a Project Researcher at the University of Oulu, Finland. Her work focuses on developing applications for remote monitoring, wearable technology and AI-based decision support in healthcare. She holds an M.Sc. in Software Engineering.

The Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC) at the University of Oulu addresses major technological challenges in global digitalization, 5G, 6G, and the Internet of Everything (IoE), including health-related applications for reliable and seamless wireless personalised care.

CWC’s areas of specialisation include body area networks, data transfer to electronic health records, the edge-cloud continuum and secure solutions for care facilities.
