What do the rapid environmental changes in the Arctic mean for young people, and what happens if these changes begin to affect not only nature, but also the continuity of local knowledge, skills, and ways of life?
These questions will be brought to the forefront in a youth panel discussion organized by the CAP-SHARE project at the Arctic Circle Assembly 2026 in Reykjavík on 9 October from 18:35 to 19:30 (UTC+0). The panel, Biodiversity Tipping Points from Arctic Youth Perspectives, will bring together Arctic youth and professionals working with young people to discuss environmental and cultural tipping points and the future of the Arctic region.
