The Interreg NPA Youth Call is here!

The Interreg NPA Youth Call was developed based on input from the Youth Survey earlier this year. It offers a flexible and inclusive opportunity for organisations working with young people to connect across regions, share ideas, learn from each other, and co-create solutions that address real needs in their communities.

Young people in the Northern Periphery and Arctic face unique challenges - from limited access to jobs and education to climate change and remote living conditions. Cooperation across regions is essential, as no single community can tackle these challenges alone.

Building on this spirit of cooperation, the Programme invites projects that place young people at the centre. The Interreg NPA Youth Call will be open from 10 June to 2 October 2026. From January onwards, organisations can already start developing their ideas with support from Interreg NPA, including guidance materials, templates, and dedicated events.

What can youth projects do?

The Interreg NPA Youth Call recognises that organisations working with young people have different levels of experience, capacity, and resources. To reflect this, applicants can choose from three types of project, each with a corresponding duration and budget, which also align with the type and scale of activities expected.

See it – 6 months: Designed for organisations new to transnational cooperation, focusing on making connections with relevant partners, exchanging ideas, and mapping expertise.

Shape it – 12 months: For organisations with some experience and regional networks. Partners use this time to test ideas in their own communities through exchanges and workshops.

Make it work – 18 months: For experienced organisations with established networks. Projects cover all phases, connect with partners, adapt ideas to local needs, and put solutions into practice at local, regional, or national levels.

Is this Youth call for you?

Join the online launch event on 21 January 2026 at 13:00 CET to learn more about the Youth Call, including its themes, project durations, budgets, and how to apply.
