New report shares key findings from Interreg post 2027 consultations

The European Commission has published the Harvesting report on post-2027 Interreg, presenting key findings from extensive consultations with Interreg practitioners, stakeholders and citizens. The initiative is part of a large-scale consultation on European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg) that started in 2023.

The European Commission's 2025 Harvesting Report synthesises input from over 10,000 stakeholders and citizens across nearly all Interreg programmes, offering insights for shaping European Territorial Cooperation beyond 2027.

The consultations highlighted strong support for Interreg cooperation, particularly in areas like climate action, public services, and youth engagement, while also identifying challenges such as administrative complexity and the need for greater flexibility.

Notably, young participants contributed a dedicated declaration, emphasising their vision for future cooperation.
