Meet our new Regional Contact Point in Greenland

We are pleased to welcome Karin Pedersen Thorsen, from Nalik Ventures, as the new Interreg NPA Regional Contact Point in Greenland. She will help spread information about Interreg NPA funding opportunities in Greenland, making it easier for local organisations to discover what the programme can offer and how they can get involved.

Born and raised in Greenland, Karin has a long-standing connection with communities and businesses across the country. Her work has given her extensive experience of Greenland’s business community. She has been in contact with private companies across Greenland and has served on the boards of several companies in which Nalik Ventures has invested. Since 2024, she has also been a committee member of NORA.

As Regional Contact Point, Karin will help Greenlandic organisations find opportunities to get involved in Interreg NPA projects and connect with potential partners across the NPA area. She can also help organisations from the other NPA countries looking to develop projects or partnerships with Greenlandic organisations.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the NPA community and look forward to working for the benefit of the Greenlandic Organisations" said Karin.

We warmly welcome Karin to the NPA community and look forward to building even stronger connections between Greenland and the wider NPA community.

Karin holds a BA in Administration from the University of Greenland, Ilisimatusarfik, and has worked at Nalik Ventures, Greenland’s national business development company, since 2007. During her career at Nalik Ventures, she has worked as an Investment Manager and Administration Manager and is today the organisation’s Chief Operating Officer.
