From getting started to making an impact

The Interreg NPA is bringing together newly approved 6th Call projects and experienced 4th and 5th Call projects for a practical and interactive Lead Partner Seminar.

Whether you are just getting started or already well underway, the seminar is designed to help you steer your partnership with confidence, strengthen your project’s impacts and learn from others across the NPA community.

For new Lead Partners: Get the essentials right from the start

The morning will begin with a dedicated introductory session for 6th Call Lead Partners. This all-round, practical session introduction covers the essentials you need to know to manage and steer an NPA project successfully.

We will cover key technical and administrative topics, including:

  • eligibility of expenditure and reporting of costs;

  • reporting on activities and project progress;

  • State aid;

  • information and publicity requirements;

  • reporting on horizontal principles; and

  • the basics of Jems.

Our aim is simple: To give new Lead Partners the knowledge and confidence they need to comfortably steer their partnership from day one.

For 4th and 5th Call projects: Turn project results into lasting impacts

While the new Lead Partners get to grips with the essentials, participants from 4th and 5th Call projects will take part in an interactive Legacy Workshop.

The focus is on what happens beyond the project itself: How can your project create lasting impacts? Who needs to take up and use your solutions? And how can you communicate with them in a way that makes them listen and act?

Through practical exercises and group work, participants will explore their project impacts, identify key stakeholders and develop convincing approaches to help their solutions reach the people and organisations who can make use of them.

One NPA community, one afternoon of exchange

In the afternoon, everyone will come together for a joint session on IVY – Interreg Volunteer Youth, including testimonials and practical information on how to involve an Interreg Youth Volunteer in your project.

The afternoon then splits into two parallel sessions.

Communication managers will continue the morning’s work, developing their project outreach strategies and taking part in a dedicated peer-to-peer exchange on transnational project communication.

Meanwhile, Lead Partners and other project representatives will join a World Café focused on the most pressing challenges identified by participants during registration. The session will combine practical advice, common pitfalls and good practices from both the NPA Programme and experienced Lead Partners.

Time to connect

The formal programme will be followed by dedicated time for one-to-one meetings with project Desk Officers and the Managing Authority, an opportunity to discuss specific project issues and get advice directly from the programme team.

And because good partnerships are also built over good conversations and local food, we will round off the day with a dinner at a local farm.

Come ready to learn, share and connect

Whether you are starting your NPA journey or already have a few years under your belt, this seminar is an opportunity to strengthen your project, exchange practical experience and connect with colleagues working across the Northern Periphery and Arctic region.

Bring your questions, your experiences and your curiosity!
