Youth Call is now open!

Explore our new funding opportunity for projects that support and engage young people across the NPA area.

The long-awaited Interreg NPA Youth Call is now open for applications.

The Youth Call is a simplified and more accessible funding opportunity for projects that are to benefit young people living in remote areas of the Nordic, Arctic and North Atlantic regions.

Who can apply?

Projects should bring together organisations from different regions to exchange ideas, knowledge and good practices. While the call focuses on young people, organisations do not need to be youth organisations to apply. What matters is that they work with or for young people.

To ensure projects are youth-led, each project must include at least one youth organisation as either a full partner or an associated partner.

The call is open to both public and private organisations.

What makes the Youth Call different?

The Youth Call is designed to be flexible and accessible.

Applicants can choose project durations of 6, 12 or 18 months. Each option comes with a corresponding budget and level of ambition. This allows organisations with different levels of experience to participate, from first-time applicants to more established project partners.

What happens next?

On 15 June, the Joint Secretariat will host a webinar on planning project activities and preparing a project budget. Join us by registering here.

Throughout the summer, applicants are encouraged to discuss their project ideas with the Joint Secretariat or their regional contact points. The call will remain open until 2 October.

After the deadline, applications will go through several assessment stages. Final funding decisions are expected in December 2026, with approved projects planned to start in February or March 2027.
